Long Distance Cruising

Finally, back at work

3/20/2019 Back in Anacortes with the sailing dinghy, a beautiful mahogany 8″ El Toro with two rigs including a racing spar and racing mainsail.Caroline looks pretty good after a harsh winter of rain, sleet and eve a couple weeks of snow. Tomorrow we try to set the hardtop again.

This is the view from the little house I’ve rented on Deception Point in Anacortes. I get to watch the weather and tides change and sea life from every room in the house.N
Now the real work begins lifting first the aft section
then the forward section of the hard top into place.
The hard top is now sitting in place waiting for the custom hardware now being crafted to secure it to the framework rails. Afterwards the new side curtains will be fabricated and attached to provide protection from the weather, or be rolled up to allow the breeze through the bridge-deck area.
